Gallipolis, Ohio is a small community that is in transition. The Gospel's influence has weakened and many families have abandoned the church and forgotten about God. As new generations are deciding to stick around the area, rather than move away to bigger cities, we have seen an increase in the need for the Gospel in a relevant and fresh presentation. 

We want to be the church that reaches these individuals and reminds them of the God who created them, and then sent His son to die for them. While remembering and honoring our historic roots, GCC seeks to meet that new generational need however possible through serving others, teaching the Word, worshipping together, and always giving the glory to God.

Gallipolis Christian Church is comprised of many different people from all different walks of life. We take pride in the fact that our children's and youth programs thrive just like our adult programs. Our congregation is not only welcoming to anyone and everyone, but more importantly, we strive to build deeper relationships than simply shaking hands on a Sunday morning. Don't you desire something deeper? The call to love like Christ is demanding, and we hope to carry out that mission in our day to lives outside of the walls of the church building.

The church in the New Testament was a family that lived out their faith together, encouraging one another, praying for one another, and keeping each other accountable.
