MISSIONS - LOCAL AND GLOBAL

At GCC, we believe that mission work is a top priority. In fact, 20% of our collected offerings are used solely to support mission work.

      

Jesus commissioned His church with these famous words found in Matthew 28:18-20. 

"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." 


We seek to achieve this mission by supporting local and foreign missionaries who spend their lives working to extend the Kingdom and the glory of our God. Please join us in prayer and support of these people:

    GCC members have the opportunity to take short term mission trips. 

    In past years our members have helped with disaster relief in:

    • New Orleans, LA
    • Tuscaloosa, AL
    • West Liberty, KY
    • Nashville, TN
    • Tom's River, NJ
    • Louisville, MS

    These are incredible opportunities to serve, they cost nothing to attend, and if you are interested, just keep your ears open for the announcement.

  • YOUTH MISSION TRIPS

    Our middle and high school students love to serve and enjoy a week away from home with their friends. Every 3 years, a week-long mission trip is planned where students serve by working and spreading the Gospel. The summers in between students go on a weekend mission trip to a local community in need.
